I always share with my hubby and don't even think twice about it. My kids, I will but I check for floaties first. With friends, occasionally with certain ones I guess. They ask me to taste their drink or something and I do.
2. What have you learned this year? (You didn't see a question of that weight coming, did you? At least not for #2.)
I learned how to blog. I learned how to sew and thread a bobbin. I learned about making aromatherapy products. I learned more about gardening and composting.
3. When do you dismantle the Christmas decorations?
The day after Christmas. I think I get really excited and put it up too early then am really tired of it the day after. I don't like clutter and I don't care for the red so I like to have my neutral earthy tones back.
4. Something you wish to accomplish before the end of 2009 is:
Well today is the 31st so hmmm? My Dad has a 2 hour layover in Denver so I'm going to go up and see him and hope to return safely. I rarely drive very far and have a tendency to get lost so I'm not happy about going without my hubby.
5. How do you feel about winter (after Christmas)?
Well it's too long here. We have 3 seasons in Colorado- almost winter, winter, and winter's almost over. It's been a very cold winter this year. I love Spring and Summer.
6. Have you participated in after-Christmas sales?
No. I always say I am going to but never want to spend another penny by the time it comes around. Especially this year we had a huge car repair bill and our annual insurance bill is due. ouch
7. Do you have plans for New Year's Eve?
The same thing I do every year. Sleep. My husband always works. Big bummer but I don't really care to ring in the New Year any other way than safe, warm, with my kids, calm and sober.
8. Is there anything special awaiting you in January?
I'm fasting. The Eat From Your Pantry Challenge. Meeting with my bookclub. I have a pretty plain life.
9. If your life this year was a movie, what category or genre would it be? (Romance, Comedy, Drama, Thriller, Suspense, Farcical, etc.)
A Romantic, Comedy, Suspense. I have a romantic heart or whatever they call it but my hubby was super romantic for our anniversary this year. And we laugh daily in our house. Laughter and comedy is huge, that's how we cope and make life bearable sometimes. We laugh a lot. And we have been in suspense wondering what and when is God going to do something?
10. How much time per day do you spend blogging? Please do not lie. I will know.
I don't blog every day thank goodness or nothing would get done around here. But when I do get the urge I spend a few hours. Like maybe 3.
11. Who runs your household?
Both of us I guess. He makes the money and is the leader of the house. He would probably say I do because of all the household stuff I do and organizing the kids activities. I try to be submissive but am a very goal oriented person and want things done like yesterday and my husband is very laid back. But I've gotten us in trouble making decisions (like Sarah and Eve) so I'm trying to let my husband hold the reigns.
12. Share one hope/dream for 2010.
Well I was full of all the same ones going into 2009 and nothing happened. So, a closer walk with the Lord would be the main thing for me.
