10 things I'm planning for Valentine's (I'm not a huge Valentine's person but it's what came to mind)
1. Make my man a playlist with special songs and dance to it in the kitchen.
2. Make fondue for dinner~ Mona Lisa style at home, cheesy and chocolaty goodness.
3. Eat it by candlelight.
4. Reese's hearts- I bought a package "for my kids" ~Wink~
5. Going to church.
6. Scrabble Valentine game (you put a Scrabble letter for each person's first name, pass it around and take turns drawing a tile and saying something nice about the person whose tile you picked.)
7. Going for a walk. (If the weather is decent, say, above 35? I love going for a walk with my family and holding hands with my sweetheart.)
8. I just remembered my husband has a meeting that day. Grr.
9. And that my son has 2 basketball games in Denver, so scratch most of these off. Double Grr. (Actually I'm excited because when my son has games Sunday mornings we go to a Saturday night service somewhere else and I'm really looking forward to that)
10. Diamonds, cute jeans, Mac makeup... now I'm just dreaming because the day is ruined. This is why I'm not a huge Valentine person, too many expectations leads to disappointment. :)

Love the dancing in the kitchen and that Scrabble game, I so want to play that!
ReplyDeleteAnd your last one, the wish list...me too. Didn't we have similar Christmas "wish" lists? :)
Blessings to you.
Those are great ideas, Christen. Love the Scrabble one especially.
ReplyDeleteHey, thanks for your help at school today! I couldn't have made it w/o you!
Good call on fondue for V-day. We're not going out, so it'll need to be kid-friendly. I'm thinking maybe a chocolate fondue night???
ReplyDeleteI love the Scrabble game idea!!
